Royal BC Museum - Distance from B&B 2km
Located in the heart of historic downtown Victoria. Through unique galleries, the Museum showcases the human and natural history of British Columbia and temporary exhibits from other countries and cultures. Authentic artifacts and specimens are displayed in highly realistic settings, giving visitors the experience of another time and place.

Maritime Museum of British Columbia - Distance from B&B 2km
Explore BC's rich and storied maritime history housed in a turn of the century building that is in itself a historical landmark. Explore key events on the coast over the past two centuries, examine the factors which drew immigrants to British Columbia, and the social, economic and political challenges they have faced in Canada.

Dominion Astrophysical Observatory -
Although still a working Observatory, the site features historical exhibits and tours. The white domes and buildings atop Observatory Hill form a familiar profile on Victoria, BC's skyline and throughout the astronomical world. The long history of this observatory has helped establish Canada's international scientific reputation in astronomy.

The Maltwood Art Museum and Gallery -

The British Columbia Aviation Museum
Dedicated to preserving aircraft and aviation artifacts. We collect, restore and display aircraft and artifacts related to the history of aviation in Canada, with emphasis on British Columbia. Located just a short drive from us in beautiful Sydney BC.

At the BC Forest Discovery Centre
An exciting and educational experience, this Museum has many exhibits for the whole family, there is always something new to explore. See live eagles, try out kids' logging activities, face-painting, wagon rides, crafts, scavenger hunts and more!

The Victoria Police Department Museum
The Victoria Police Department is the oldest police force west of the Great Lakes. Located in the new Headquarters building located at 850 Caledonia Ave. Open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday, 10:00a.m. to 2:00 p.m. See historical Victoria Police artifacts dating back through our 143 year history.

Fort Rodd Hill National Historic Site of Canada
Fort Rodd Hill NHS commemorates the national significance of the Victoria-Esquimalt coast artillery fortress in the defense of Victoria and the naval base at Esquimalt harbour, as part of the larger defense strategy of the British Empire and Canada, 1878 to 1956. This is a highly recommended day trip to a unique place in Victoria.

Craigflower Manor and School House
Craigflower occupies several open hectares at the junction of Craigflower Road (Old Island Highway 1A, almost parallel with the main Trans-Canada Highway 1) and Admirals Road. It is just a 10-minute drive from downtown Victoria and directly accessible from the Trans-Canada via Admirals Road for those approaching Victoria from Duncan and Goldstream Provincial Park.

Sooke Region Museum and Visitor Infocentre
Located 40 minutes from downtown Victoria, along the Sooke Road (Hwy 14) the Sooke Region Museum can be found at the corner of Sooke Rd. and Phillips Rd., on the right side, after passing the the bridge over the Sooke River. The Visitor Information Centre can provide visitors with brochures, maps and information.

Art Gallery of Greater Victoria
When it first opened in 1951, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria exhibited art in the historic 1889 mansion that is now adjacent to its seven modern galleries. With almost 16,000 works of art, the Art Gallery has the largest public collection in BC and is a vibrant and active part of Victoria's artist community.

The Avenue Gallery
Located in the prestigious Oak Bay Village in Victoria, BC, Contemporary Fine Art Gallery, The Avenue Gallery is known to both contemporary fine art collectors and the public alike as an exceptional spot to discover some of Canada’s finest established and emerging artists.

Emily Carr House
Visit the childhood home of one of Canada's most beloved and famous painters. Located on beautiful Government Street in Victoria, within walking distance of the Inner Harbour and Beacon Hill Park.

Euro Art Gallery
Founded in 2000, the Euro Art Gallery, Victoria, Canada is fully devoted to present an exciting assortment of artworks by famous and emerging contemporary Czech artists as well as artists from other European Union countries. Includes a great artist thumbnail gallery.

Alcheringa Gallery
The mandate of the gallery is to create a following for the work of individual aboriginal artists from three areas ­ the Northwest Coast of Canada, Papua New Guinea, and Australia- in the fine art market in Canada and abroad. Located on Fort St in Downtown Victoria.

Fran Willis Gallery
Victoria's oldest and largest contemporary art gallery, representing both emerging and established western Canadian Artists of both national and international stature. Located within walking distance of the Inner Harbor on the waterfront, between Market Square and Chinatown.

Hill's Native Art
Victoria has been home to the rich and vibrant culture of the First Nations since thousands of years before European explorers discovered Vancouver Island. The influential works of these talented carvers can be found at our Government Street Gallery, which is located three blocks from the bustling Inner Harbor.
