Policies
Here you will
find details on things like our cancellation policy or general policies
regarding check-in and long term rentals. Please note that this information
changes from time to time so always confirm with your hosts if you have
any questions regarding the following information.
(B&B nightly /Weekly)
Please note that we have a 14 day cancellation policy. If less than 14
days a one night surcharge will apply. Visa or Master Card required to
confirm bookings . Two night minimum stay may apply in the high season
on weekends. Prices shown do not include applicable taxes.
Delicious Self Catered
selection to choose from. Have breakfast at your own time schedule in
a leisurely manor or eat and run. We supply a delightful assortment of
wholesome baked breads ,bagels ,muffins, cereals and scones . Delectable
tropical and local fruit and berries in season. Milk , eggs , yogurt ,
juices , and of course coffee and teas are always available. For those
with special diets we cater to your breakfast needs. Please let me know
in advance so I can have the appropriate foods on hand. Start the day
your way!
“ I can’t believe
it is so quiet here” are remarks heard again and again from our B&B guests.
We endeavor to keep that quality . Our guests who might arrive late into
the night please respect our neighbours and other B&B guests when you
enter and get settled in . Thank you for keeping our neighbours and friends
happy.
For the comfort and safety
of all our visitors, we maintain a strict no-pets policy. This means our
accommodations are suitable for those with pet allergies as well as small
children who might otherwise be at risk. If you are traveling with a pet
we would be happy to recommend some local pet related services such as
grooming, dog-walking and pet accommodations.
All of our Bed and Breakfast
suites and rooms are 100% smoke free environments. We find that even smoking
outside , the smoke always seems to find an open door or window to waif
back into the house and is bothersome to our guests. We will be glad to
help locate other accommodations who do allow smoking outside .ght respecting
our neighbours nad other B&B gu ?
Quilters Cottage suite
has the Garden Room which is wheel chair
friendly. There is a ramp to that level ( upper floor) but I might add
that it is a little on the steep side so I think a companion is a must
for additional aide. This room has a King Bed but can also be changed
into 2 twin beds. The bathroom is ensuite and wheel chair accessible with
a pedestal sink and a higher than usual toilet. The oversized shower unit
has helpful hand grips and a seat for your comfort.
MONTHLY FURNISHED RENTALS – Snowbirds/ Winter Rentals/ Relocating
to the Victoria area
Our furnished suites are available short or long term. Prospective tenants
must submit an application form in person, by fax or by mail.
Security Deposit
A security deposit in the amount of one-half of one month’s rent is due
upon acceptance of the application. The security deposit can be submitted
by cheque, money order or by direct deposit, in Canadian funds only. The
security deposit will be returned within 15 days of the end of the tenancy
provided there are no deductions.
Cleaning Fee
Our suites are thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival. In order to ensure
this high standard there is a one time cleaning fee of , $80 (one bedroom)
$100 (two bedrooms or 3 bedrooms ), payable with the security deposit.
Should the suite need cleaning beyond this allowance because of the condition
in which it was left, the additional expense will be deducted from your
security deposit.
Included with Rentals
Furnished rental suites include linens, towels, dishes, utensils, cookware,
Cable TV, ( and or ) VCR & DVD , all utilities and parking. The
suites are equipped with a local phone line; however, long distance calls
do require a calling card. Any long distance calls noted on the telephone
bills will be deducted from your security deposit .
Check-In Time
Check-In time is from 3:00 PM. to 5:00 PM . Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
We will try to accommodate your arrival times whenever possible.
